What Happens During a BodySculp Procedure?
Preparation
Before your BodySculp treatment, our experts will walk you through a consultation to determine whether you’re a proper candidate for the procedure. Patients are expected to have a BMI index below 30% in order to qualify. In addition, we recommend avoiding blood thinners, Ibuprofen, and aspirin a few days prior to your appointment to minimize risk of bruising.
Treatment
During your treatment, the BodySculp belt will be wrapped around the desired area, providing a temperature of 116 degrees fahrenheit. Taking about 25 to 30 minutes, the BodySculp technology will alternate between a cooling effect and laser heat to eliminate fat cells. Patients can expect to lose up to 25% of fat cells per procedure.
Aftercare
You may experience some slight discomfort after the completion of your treatment due to the heat, but this will subside within a few hours. Slight results can be seen in as little as three weeks after the first treatment, with full results being noticable 10 to 12 weeks after your final treatment.
